A little about my why….

Journaling has been a part of my life for almost 15 years now. I learned at a young age that writing is a healthy way to get things out without saying things you don’t mean to say out loud.  It’s my safe place. What’s better–is that I can now look back over the last 15 years of journals and see the seasons that God has brought me through. My passion is not writing or big fancy words. I love the Lord and I love people.  I’m passionate about sharing life and struggles with people, about being honest about the good and the bad seasons of life. I’m passionate about walking beside broken people– because the truth is, brokenness is a universal season that all humans face in some way, shape, or form. My desire is not to fix you. It’s not to exalt brokenness and live in it. My hope is that through sharing experiences and just being honest, I can encourage you to hold tight to that which does not change–Hope. It’s to remind you that God uses our brokenness to make us beautiful. No matter the storms you may be facing, it is my hope that through reading this blog, your soul is stirred and your heart is encouraged to keep going. Don’t quit. It’s worth it. You’re becoming something greater!
